Baltimore Ravens Tickets

Ravens keep draft intentions a mystery

As per usual, the Baltimore Ravens have kept their intentions in this year’s NFL Draft a secret.

One known fact is that the Ravens will likely have a successful draft, as there have been very few years in which the team has looked back and had second thoughts about their selections.

The Ravens have been particularly successful with late first-round picks, which just so happens to be where they sit this year. They also have done particularly well with middle round selections.

Of course, the Ravens have been linked often with Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin, and while a trade is still possible, it seems far from likely at this point.

I think the Ravens would be thrilled if tight end Brandon Pettigrew somehow fell to them with the No. 26 overall selection. I also think they would be interested in trading down into the second round to acquire additional picks.

Ravens looking at Boldin

The Baltimore Ravens are in desperate need of a big-time playmaker at the wide receiver position, and what better player to bring in than Arizona Cardinals wideout Anquan Boldin?

The Ravens have evidently expressed interest to the Cardinals in the wide receiver, but it may take too much to pry him away from the desert.

The Cardinals are asking for a first and third round pick in exchange for Boldin, one of the top wideouts in the NFC.

The Ravens are one of the top drafting teams in the NFL but only have six picks overall for this year’s event.

The team probably isn’t willing to cut that down to just four picks, especially when they need to bring in some young blood on the defensive side of the ball.
